Allen E. Rozansky

Overview

Allen E. Rozansky, licensed in both Colorado and New York, is a Denver-based attorney, practicing for over twenty years in the areas of estate planning and administration (taxable and non-taxable estates — domestic and international), business organizations (formation, operation, and transactions), and taxation (individual, partnership, and corporate — international and domestic). He also serves as an expert witness in divorce proceedings regarding the treatment of beneficial interests in trusts as “property” subject to the Colorado equitable distribution rules.  

Mr. Rozansky is the Co-Legal Managing Editor of, and a contributing author to, CLE Colorado Inc.’s Practitioner’s Guide to Colorado Business Organizations, soon to be released in its third edition.  He has also written about estate planning, international and domestic taxation, business organizations, and securities, having been published in such publications as The Colorado Lawyer (will revocations, international estate planning, securities, probate litigation, and same-sex marriages), the newsletter of the International Law Section of the ABA (international taxation), the Comparative Yearbook of International Business published by the Center for International Legal Studies (legal issues arising when non-American athletes play professionally in the United States), the CBA’s Trust and Estate Section’s Council Notes, and The Front Porch newspaper (effect of U.S. Supreme Court’s DOMA decision on Colorado residents). Mr. Rozansky has lectured on many topics, including domestic and international taxation, estate planning, and choice-of-entity planning.
