Evan S. Glasser

Overview

Evan Glasser is a member of the firm’s Wills, Trust & Estates practice group, concentrating his practice on domestic estate planning, probates, guardianships, and trust administration matters. Mr. Glasser counsels individuals and families on a variety of estate planning needs and prepares wills, trust agreements, advance directives, and related documents. Further, Mr. Glasser represents and advises heirs, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, creditors, and interested parties in probate, guardianship, trust modification, and other contested and uncontested matters.

Before focusing his practice on estates and trusts, Mr. Glasser represented regional and national clients involved in business, contract, and real estate-related disputes throughout Florida. He also handled matters involving commercial and residential foreclosures, consumer finance litigation, country club litigation, creditors’ rights, and disputes with condominium and homeowners’ associations relating to liens and the collection of assessments. Mr. Glasser has extensive trial experience, motion practice, and courtroom skills to provide the best representation and results for his clients.

For the past several years, Mr. Glasser has led the firm’s highly successful Summer Associate Program that annually welcomes nearly a dozen 2L students from various prestigious law schools to offices firmwide. Mr. Glasser coordinates meaningful programming, mentoring, and activities for the summer associates. In addition to these contributions, Mr. Glasser has been instrumental in the firm’s pro bono efforts, particularly with the Broward County State Attorney’s Office to provide expungement and record sealing services as part of the firm’s “Project New Leaf” initiative. His support has led to successful outcomes for nearly 30 individuals from underserved communities in 2023.

As a community leader, Mr. Glasser currently serves as a board member of LEV Children’s Museum – a non-profit that engages children, including neurodiverse kids, and families, with multi-sensory Jewish educational programs and experiences. He also evaluates applicants for the Miami Foundation’s Sidney M. Aronovitz Memorial Scholarship awarded annually to exemplary minority students in Miami-Dade County who are continuing their education at the university level and pursuing a career related to the legal field or social justice issues. Additionally, Mr. Glasser regularly volunteers as a high school speech and debate judge. Previously, Mr. Glasser was a board member and strategic chair for the Jewish Federation of Broward County and a prior co-chair of its Horizons Leadership Program; he has participated as a mentor with the JNET Law Society Fellowship.

Mr. Glasser earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University. Following graduation, he worked as a financial analyst for an information technology management and consulting firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Glasser was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003, having earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida College of Law. After law school and before joining the firm, he served as an Assistant State Attorney at the Office of the State Attorney in Broward County. For over three years, he served the people of the State of Florida as a prosecutor of serious crimes in both the Economic Crime and Misdemeanor Units.
