GREENSPOON MARDER HOSTED THE MADD DASH FORT LAUDERDALE WRAP PARTY

FORT LAUDERDALE – August 17, 2016 – Greenspoon Marder hosted this year’s Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Dash Fort Lauderdale Wrap Party on August 17^th at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. The wrap party concludes the organization’s annual Walk Like MADD 5k Dash to raise funds to help eliminate drunk driving. All the money raised by the event will stay in the South Florida community to stop the tragedy caused by this 100% preventable crime on our roadways.

MADD is the nation’s largest nonprofit working to protect families from drunk driving, drugged driving and underage drinking. Each year thousands of people in over 60 cities around the nation participate in the organizations 5k. With over 340,000 lives saved and 780,000 victims served, funds raised through Walk Like MADD events allow MADD staff and volunteers to provide emotional support and assistance to victims, support heroes in law enforcement, work with state and local legislators to adopt tougher laws, and support the development of technology to detect a drunk driver. Greenspoon Marder is proud to support this great cause, in hopes to prevent the loss of another victim by a drunk driver.
