Alexander Roney is an associate in the Immigration practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. He focuses his practice on representing clients in all aspects of corporate U.S. immigration, including various employment-based nonimmigrant visas, petitions for permanent residence, Program Electronic Review Management (PERM) labor certification, adjustment of status applications, U.S. citizenship, travel-related issues, and immigration strategies. Mr. Roney also regularly provides guidance to clients on compliance matters dealing with USCIS requirements and filing H-1B, E-1, E-2, and TN visas. Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder, Mr. Roney worked as an associate attorney for boutique business immigration law firms in New York, handling corporate employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions. He also assisted in representing clients with family-based petitions for permanent residence.
Mr. Roney earned his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern Law School, graduating cum laude. During law school, he worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Gregory Frost at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, as well as earning a Corporate Law Specialization Certificate. In addition, Mr. Roney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Franklin & Marshall, where he graduated with High Honors.
