Overview

Ashley Elmore Drew is Senior Counsel in the Greenspoon Marder Regulatory Compliance & Defense practice group. Ms. Drew focuses her practice on legal, operational, and regulatory compliance involving consumer and commercial finance, banking, real estate, and debt collection. She advises lenders, depository institutions, mortgage servicers, debt buyers, debt collectors, brokers, and individual investors on Dodd-Frank, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Military Lending Act, Service Members Civil Relief Act, Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices, state licensure and a variety of state laws and regulations. She evaluates and drafts policies, procedures, vendor contracts, document templates for both commercial and residential lending, advertising proofs, disclosures, and business relationships to ensure compliance with state and federal law. She offers third party auditing services, assistance with state and federal regulatory audits, Civil Investigative Demands, vendor auditing, and due diligence. Ms. Drew also represents corporate clients in real estate, contract, and consumer claims in state and federal court.
