Jean M. Kim is an associate in the Intellectual Property practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. Ms. Kim litigates a wide array of intellectual property, technology, and commercial matters, including patent, trademark, copyright infringement, and trade secret disputes. Along with Ms. Kim’s litigation experience, she has represented recording artists and record companies in state courts throughout California.
As a registered patent attorney, Ms. Kim serves as intellectual property counselor and strategist for various startup companies and regularly advises emerging companies as well as draft and negotiate a range of agreements. She has in-depth experience working with multiple industries, including life sciences, entertainment, technology, e-commerce, and telecommunications.
Ms. Kim earned her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. During law school, she was an extern for the Honorable Consuelo B. Marshall of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Kim also received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
