Keon Hardemon is a partner in the Litigation practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. He represents clients at all stages of complex commercial and civil litigation matters. Mr. Hardemon has extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in litigation proceedings, including trial and alternative dispute resolution. From day one on a case, his client philosophy is centered around personalization, responsiveness, and is determined to drive positive results.
An experienced first-chair litigation attorney, Mr. Hardemon also has a wealth of trial experience in state and federal courts working closely with clients in high-stakes white collar and criminal defense matters, such as securities, tax evasion, mail/wire fraud, bankruptcy, corporate, narcotics conspiracies, racketeering, bribery and corruption, and money laundering. He has successfully represented hundreds of individuals, including juvenile student-athletes who are on the precipice of collegiate success and celebrities accused of serious felonies.
Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder, Mr. Hardemon founded and led his own firm, concentrating on criminal defense and commercial litigation matters. Before coming to private practice, he served as an Assistant Public Defender at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office.
Outside of Mr. Hardemon’s legal practice, he has taken an active role in shaping the legal community in Florida. He currently serves as commissioner on the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners for District 3. He became the youngest serving commissioner since the establishment of single member districts when he was elected as a Miami City Commissioner. Mr. Hardemon also became the longest serving chairman after serving as a four-time chairman of the Miami City Commission. He also serves as chairman of Miami-Dade County’s Aviation and Economic Development Committee and chairman of the Tourist Development Council.
