Kevin A. Marks is an associate in the Real Estate law practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP, where he represents institutional lenders in complex mid-market real estate transactions nationwide and has counseled clients on real estate and corporate governance matters. His practice focuses on financing for acquisitions and renovations of multifamily, office, industrial, shopping center, and hotel properties, and he specializes in mezzanine structuring, cross-collateralized portfolio loans, preferred equity financing, and New York construction loans.
Mr. Marks’ legal experience includes providing guidance on fixed versus floating rate loan structuring, LIBOR sunset and SOFR conversions, title, survey and zoning reviews, portfolio properties and condominium regimes, as well as yield maintenance and non-recourse provisions, plus joinder and interest rate cap agreements. He has also counseled clients on a variety of asset management issues, including loan modifications, property releases, and note sales.
