Michael Pego is an associate in the Entertainment, Media & Technology Industry Group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. His practice focuses on a full range of entertainment industry matters, including recording artist agreements (such as recording and publishing deals, management agreements, and live performance engagements), film production and financing, festival organization and management, corporate governance, and joint ventures.
Mr. Pego earned his juris doctor from Florida International University College of Law where he finished third in his class. During law school, Mr. Pego was an active member of the FIU Law Review and served as an Articles Editor. Additionally, Mr. Pego was selected to be published in the Spring 2019 edition of the FIU Law Review Journal for his comment entitled The Delusion of Amateurism in College Sports.
Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder, Mr. Pego was an account manager for an industry-leading multinational electronics company, where he managed various retailers and distributors throughout Latin America in addition to providing direction on client marketing, sales forecasting, supply chain management, and logistics.
