Michael Patrick is a partner in the Litigation and Corporate practice groups at Greenspoon Marder. Mr. Patrick is well-recognized as a litigator and counselor to clients around the world, including some of the most acclaimed and distinguished companies, celebrities, and individuals. Although his practice spans numerous areas and industries, Mr. Patrick has been recognized as a leader in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property and intellectual property litigation, including as a “Super Lawyer” in New York. Mr. Patrick routinely represents and counsels clients through complex – and often “bet the company” – matters and scenarios on a global scale, including state and federal courts, regulatory proceedings, and arbitral venues. Furthermore, Mr. Patrick has emerged as a sought-after resource on issues relating to Artificial Intelligence, advising clients across various industries on how to navigate the evolving legal landscape (including intellectual property issues) while balancing innovation and growth.
Mr. Patrick also serves as an outside general counsel to many clients, counseling clients in virtually every stage or sector of their businesses, and is known for his creative, business savvy strategies. Mr. Patrick also represents fashion, consumer goods, luxury-focused businesses, and prominent individuals (such as inventors, designers, celebrities, and artists) across the United States, and, in particular, in connection with intellectual property and entertainment-related matters.
