Scott Griffith

Overview

Scott Griffith is an associate in the Financial Services practice group at Greenspoon Marder. He assists in handling matters related to Mortgage Banking and Lending Services, primarily involving mortgage foreclosure litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Griffith worked as a senior trial lawyer at a midsize business law firm where he provided counsel for major financial institutions. He has experience handling highly contested foreclosure trials in almost every county in Florida and has represented major lending institutions against claims involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Truth In Lending Act (TILA), and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA).

Mr. Griffith earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration Degree simultaneously from Stetson University through a dual degree program. He also received his Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in Mass Media Studies and Psychology from Florida State University.
