DADE COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION’S PROBATE & GUARDIANSHIP SEMINAR 2017

MIAMI, FL – October 13, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder attorney, Elizabeth Hughes, was a featured speaker at the Dade County Bar Association’s (DCBA) Probate & Guardianship Seminar on Thursday, October 12^th in Miami. Ms. Hughes presentation was titled “The Estate’s Role as a Party to Litigation.”

The DCBA is the largest voluntary bar association in Florida, and the voice for Miami-Dade County’s diverse legal community. Its goal is to support and inform the county’s lawyers, as well as the public and the community at large.

Ms. Hughes represents clients in all aspects of probate, guardianship, trust law, and litigation proceedings. She has experience litigating and resolving will contests, fee disputes, determination of heir disputes, disputes over appointment of fiduciaries, removal of fiduciaries, elective share disputes, and breaches of fiduciary obligations. In addition to her busy practice, Ms. Hughes sits on the Board of Directors for the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami and is Vice Chair of the Dade County Bar Association Probate and Guardianship Committee.
