THE FLORIDA BAR’S REAL PROPERTY, PROBATE, AND TRUST LAW SECTION

Fort Lauderdale, FL – July 27, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder senior counsel Elizabeth Hughes selected to the Executive Council of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law (RPPTL) Section for the 2017-2018 year. Additionally, she has been accepted as an At Large Member for the section.

The RPPTL Section of The Florida Bar assists in developing real property, probate and trust law, and to serve the public generally and The Florida Bar in interpreting and carrying out the public and professional needs and objectives in the field. The section develops standards for ethical and competent practice and maintains professional relationships between real property, probate and trust lawyers and other groups.

Ms. Hughes represents clients in all aspects of probate, guardianship, trust law and litigation proceedings. She has experience litigating and resolving will contests, fee disputes, determination of heir disputes, disputes over appointment of fiduciaries, removal of fiduciaries, elective share disputes, and breaches of fiduciary obligations. In addition to her busy practice, Ms. Hughes sits on the Board of Directors for the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami and is Vice Chair of the Dade County Bar Association Probate and Guardianship Committee.
