Greenspoon Marder Client Alert: FDA Extends Comment Period for Public Hearing on Cannabis-Derived Compounds

The FDA Office of Legislastion has decided to extend the comment period regarding their May 31st public hearing, “Scientific Data and Information bout Products Containing Cannabis or Cannabis-Derived Compounds,” so that comments may now be submitted on or before July 16, 2019.

The FDA has stated that they are very interested in additional data regarding safety and dosages of CBD products, to the extent that folks are interested in sharing that information with the agency. For instructions regarding comment submissions, please see the following Federal Register Notice.
