Tallahassee, FL – April 5, 2018 – Greenspoon Marder partner, Evett Simmons, recognized as Systemic Reform by The Children’s Campaign. Ms. Simmons will be honored at the Superheroes for Super Kids event on April 5^th in Tallahassee. Superheroes for Super Kids is Florida’s preeminent event to honor individuals and organizations that have gone above and beyond during the past 25 years to make Florida a better place for children to live, work and play; and, to call Florida’s future leaders to action in the best interest of children

Ms. Simmons concentrates her practice in the areas of probate and guardianship administration, estate planning and elder law. She has been recognized by a variety of respected organizations, associations, and businesses. She has been president of several bar associations, including the National Bar Association. She just completed a term as Chair of The Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education Committee and the American Bar Association Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession. Recently, she was named to represent the NBA on the ABA’s newly formed Diversity and Inclusion Center Advisory Council. In addition, Ms. Simmons currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Florida Southern College which, in 2013, named its multicultural center the “Evett L. Simmons Center for Multicultural Awareness.”
