LEGAL SEMINAR ON CANNABIS LAW IN NEVADA CITY

Nevada City, CA – August 9, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder partner Heather L. Burke will be a featured speaker at the “Emerging Principles in the Ethical Representation of Clients on California Cannabis Law” Legal Seminar on August 18^th at the Nevada County Superior Court Library. Ms. Burke will present a survey of the relevant ethics opinions, including those from Washington, Colorado and Oregon, and delve into the pitfalls that may arise without understanding the ethical boundaries of cannabis-related representation.

Ms. Burke represents medical cannabis patients and cultivators throughout California and in federal court with a focus on cottage and small cultivators in Northern California. Additionally, Ms. Burke pens a popular blog about legal issues affecting heritage farmers.
