Greenspoon Marder Senior Counsel Marcel Gesmundo Featured Speaker For The Multifamily NW Senate Bill 608 Update Luncheon
Mar 19, 2019
Portland, OR – March 19, 2019 – Greenspoon Marder senior counsel Marcel J. Gesmundo, will be the featured speaker for Multifamily NW’s Senate Bill 608 Update Luncheon on March 20th, hosted at the MAC in Portland. On February 28, 2019, Oregon Governor Kate Brown signed SB 608 into law. The bill enacted the first-in-the-nation statewide rent control, restricts home-providers’ right to remove tenants, and requires new mandatory relocation payments to tenants. These recent changes add to increasingly complicated rules for Oregon home-providers to follow. Mr. Gesmundo will explain what the law means for home-providers and how to comply with it. Greenspoon Marder is a proud member and industry partner of Multifamily NW.
Mr. Gesmundo is a member of Greenspoon Marder’s litigation group. His practice focuses on advising, educating, and representing property owners and property managers.
