Las Vegas, NV – September 28, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder senior counsel Neal Gidvani will be a featured speaker at today’s National Business Institute (NBI) Recreational Marijuana Business Law Seminar in Nevada. Mr. Gidvani’s presentation entitled “Legal Best Practices for Marijuana Product Packaging and Testing” will discuss labeling rules, packaging restrictions, obtaining trademarks, avoiding product liability pitfalls, among a variety of other topics.

Mr. Gidvani has several years of experience representing various cannabis related entities including privileged license holders and ancillary businesses assisting in all areas of the industry including mergers and acquisitions, government relations, and regulatory compliance. Cannabis clients have come to rely on Mr. Gidvani’s knowledge of the industry and depend on his experience and counsel when developing and implementing business strategies. In 2014, Mr. Gidvani led a team securing a medical cultivation and production license in Nevada and has advised businesses completing privileged license applications in Minnesota, Arkansas and, most recently, in Ohio.
