Greenspoon Marder Senior Counsel Shirley Palumbo Featured Judge At the Preliminary Competition for the 7th Annual Cristol Kahn Paskay Cup

Miami, FL – February 19, 2018 – Greenspoon Marder Senior Counsel, Shirley Palumbo, was a featured judge at the preliminary competition for the 7^th annual Cristol Kahn Paskay Cup at the University of Miami School of Law. The competition serves as warm –up for Duberstein National Bankruptcy Competition, which promotes and recognizes the finest oral and written advocacy on significant issues in bankruptcy practice.

In support of the Southern District of Florida Bankruptcy Bar and the 11th Circuit Moot Court, Shirley Palumbo along with 19 other volunteer attorneys judged the CKP competition which was on February 17th at the University of Miami School of Law South Florida and the University of Miami will be showcased to all of the schools in the Eleventh Circuit. Those include the University of Alabama, Emory, Florida Coastal and University of Florida, St. Thomas University and Stetson University.

Ms. Palumbo is Senior Counsel in the firm’s Financial Services practice group. She has twenty years of experience representing institutional lenders, investors, debtors, secured creditors and trustees throughout the bankruptcy, loss mitigation and foreclosure process. She also has extensive experience in bankruptcy restructuring and insolvency litigation with concentration in secured creditors’ rights in Bankruptcy Court and out-of-court workouts.
