Steve Geller Serves As Panelist for Barry Law School Symposium “Florida Self-Defense & Ethical Prosecution in the Wake of the Zimmerman Trial”

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL –February 21,2014 – Steve Geller, a Shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale offices of Greenspoon Marder, P.A., will serve as a panelist for the Barry University School of Law’s upcoming Law Review Symposium on Friday, February 21, 2014. He will be taking part in discussion involving Stand Your Ground and Gun Control.

The symposium, titled “Florida Self-Defense & Ethical Prosecution in the Wake of the Zimmerman Trial,” will cover topics relating to ethical prosecution, jury selection and perception, and Florida’s Stand Your Ground Law.

Additional key speakers at the event will include Mark O’Mara and Don West, main defense attorneys in the 2013 trial of George Zimmerman; former U.S. Marshal Tom Hurlburt; former NYPD officer Dennis Bootle; and attorneys Ken Rhoden, Diana Tennis, Carey Haughwout, Mimi Smith, Scott Santos, and Cynthia Schmidt.

The symposium runs from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and includes free continental breakfast and lunch. Symposium attendees are eligible to receive 6.5 CLE credits. There is no charge for attendance or CLE registration.
