Jared Leace

Overview

Jared Leace is an associate in the Real Estate practice group at Greenspoon Marder. After passing the July 2022 New York Bar, Mr. Leace began his legal career at the firm as a member of the real estate finance group where he has been involved in a wide range of matters, representing lenders on loans ranging from $5 million to $100 million. Additionally, Mr. Leace has provided counsel to mezzanine lenders, preferred equity investors, and borrowers on various real estate transactions. He has also played a key role in negotiations of property management agreements with multi-family and commercial building operators on behalf of a prominent property management group.

Hailing from South Florida, Mr. Leace moved to the northeast in 2014 where he attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a bachelor’s in business management in 2018. Driven by his passion for law, he immediately transitioned to law school at Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia. As an ambitious student, he embarked on a joint degree program and completed his juris doctorate and Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in May 2022.

During his time in the master’s program, Mr. Leace was honored to be selected as a Lawrie Advanced Global Leadership Fellow. This prestigious fellowship, founded by Michael Lawrie, former CEO of DXC Technology and founder of The Lawrie Group LLC, equips students with the knowledge and tools to assume leadership positions early in their careers. Through this program, he had the unique opportunity to interact with C-suite executives at high-profile companies, including McKinsey & Company, gaining invaluable insights into effective leadership and management.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Leace has a variety of interests. He enjoys staying active and is an avid basketball and football enthusiast. He also nurtures his love for travel, embracing new cultures and experiences whenever possible.
