Jay H. Kim

Jay H. Kim is a partner in the Real Estate practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. He brings extensive experience in advising institutional and private lenders, developers, borrowers and investors across a broad range of real estate transactions. Mr. Kim represents lenders in the origination, acquisition and restructuring of loans spanning commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, construction financing, SBA financing and mezzanine lending. Mr. Kim represents clients in the acquisition, leasing and disposition of all asset types, including commercial, industrial, office, residential, multi-family, mixed-use, hotels and development parcels. His practice includes negotiation of co-lender agreements, participated interests, preferred equity, joint venture agreements, and office, retail and triple-net leasing.
A graduate of Cornell University, Mr. Kim received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2000, where he was awarded the prestigious Sir Thomas More full-tuition scholarship.
Mr. Kim is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New York and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He lives on the East Side of Manhattan with his wife and two children.
