Lawren A. Zann is a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice group where he concentrates his practice in the areas of complex commercial and civil litigation. Clients turn to Lawren for his counsel and guidance to navigate their most complex and high-stakes disputes, including those involving contract claims, fraud and related torts, fiduciary duties, trade secrets, unfair business practices, restrictive covenants, land use, shareholder disputes, privacy and statutory compliance, and injunctive relief. With a sharp strategic mind and extensive courtroom experience, he delivers results consistent with each client’s unique objectives. Lawren also frequently defends nationwide class action claims arising under various consumer protection statutes, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). He serves as lead trial counsel and argues cases in federal, state, and arbitration courts throughout the country on behalf of clients in a wide range of industries. Known for his bold, creative strategies and unwavering commitment to his clients’ best interests, Lawren combines legal expertise with practical business judgment to achieve favorable outcomes in even the most challenging litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Lawren worked as a supervising Assistant State Attorney at the State Attorney’s Office in Broward County, Florida, where he prosecuted offenses ranging from sex crimes to drug trafficking to homicides for more than 5 years. Lawren brings to the firm his extensive trial experience, motion work, and courtroom familiarity; skills that assist in producing the best results for his clients.
