Max Whittaker
Max Whittaker is an associate in Greenspoon Marder’s Financial Services practice group, where he represents clients in residential mortgage foreclosure matters, statutory redemption proceedings, and related real property disputes.
Mr. Whittaker brings hands-on experience handling foreclosure pleadings, judgments, loan and security documents, title issues, and post-sale redemption rights. He has reviewed and analyzed foreclosure sale records and advised clients on the procedures that follow a foreclosure judgment. His background also includes contested real property litigation, including landlord-tenant disputes and a partition action involving the ownership and division of real property.
Before joining Greenspoon Marder, Mr. Whittaker practiced at his own firm in Albuquerque, where he drafted commercial and residential real estate documents, including promissory notes, mortgages, deeds of trust, seller-financing contracts, and transfer-on-death deeds. He also counseled buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals on failed transactions, breach-of-contract claims, and specific-performance disputes.
