Michelle Kramer

Senior Counsel

Michelle Kramer is senior counsel in Greenspoon Marder LLP’s White Collar & Criminal Defense practice group. She brings extensive first-chair experience spanning investigations, litigation, and trial work across state and federal-adjacent matters, with a career grounded in public service.

Immediately before joining the firm, Ms. Kramer served as an assistant attorney general in Miami, Florida, where she was part of a collaborative Consumer Protection team investigating and litigating violations of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA). Her work included assessing consumer complaints, evaluating potential deceptive or unfair business practices, and engaging corporate entities suspected of price gouging and FDUTPA matters.

Prior to the Office of the Attorney General, Ms. Kramer served in the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office for nearly a decade. First, as an assistant public defender, she represented thousands of clients in County, Juvenile, and Circuit Courts, and successfully defended clients against charges ranging from DUIs and misdemeanors to first-degree murder. As a senior supervising attorney for the Early Representation Unit, Ms. Kramer was responsible for training and supervising the attorneys who handled felony cases before arraignment, advocated for charge reductions or dismissals, bond relief pre-filing, and first appearances. In that position, Ms. Kramer also engaged in the criminal justice community to develop policies to reform systemic processing and detention issues.

Ms. Kramer works alongside David Kubiliun, who has extensive experience in criminal law, having worked at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office for ten years before starting his own private practice twenty-five years ago. Their combined experience, insight, and unwavering dedication to their clients highlight their commitment to high-stakes legal representation in various criminal matters.

Ms. Kramer has been deeply involved in the Miami community since relocating from New York City in 2007. A devoted member of Temple Beth Am, she enjoys life with her husband, Gary, their two wonderful daughters, and a mini goldendoodle who never fails to charm on every sidewalk stroll.
