Nick Klingenberg is senior counsel in the Wills, Trusts & Estates practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. With nearly a decade of experience, Mr. Klingenberg is a seasoned trust and estates attorney, adept at advising high-net-worth clients in both California and New York. His focus encompasses advanced estate, tax, and business succession planning, as well as probate, trust administration, and related cross-jurisdictional strategies.
Mr. Klingenberg served as a senior attorney at a California-based boutique law firm. In that role, he led complex estate, estate tax, and California property tax planning engagements, leveraging his bi-coastal experience to serve both New York and California clients.
Mr. Klingenberg’s work involves advising clients on intricate strategies for estate planning, estate tax minimization, California property tax preservation, asset protection, and special needs planning. He is also skilled at designing tax-efficient real property transfer and business succession plans. Additionally, he is experienced in overseeing probate and trust administration matters both in California and New York, preparing federal estate and gift tax returns, valuing assets during probate or trust administration, and handling a variety of miscellaneous and advanced California probate court proceedings.
