Shirley Palumbo is senior counsel in the firm’s Financial Services practice group at Greenspoon Marder. With twenty (20) years of experience in bankruptcy, financial restructuring, financial services, and insolvency effectively acting for clients on any issue of national or international scope and achieved AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating – the highest Peer Review Rating possible in ethics and profession – by Martindale-Hubbell. Ms. Palumbo has substantial experience representing and advising clients, including creditors, debtors, trustees and financial institutions in negotiating and out-of-court workouts as well as reviewing national, cross-border and multijurisdictional challenges. Ms. Palumbo’s area of work include chapter 11, 7, 13 and 15 representation, dispute resolution, bankruptcy litigation, creditor’s committee representation, sale and purchase of distress assets in bankruptcy, UNCITRAL Model Law, as well as representation at the bankruptcy mortgage mediation process.
