FT. LAUDERDALE, FL (Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012) – Greenspoon Marder co-founder Gerald Greenspoon has been named as a laureate in Junior Achievement of South Florida’s 2012 Business Hall of Fame. This prestigious recognition honors community leaders whose records of business achievements demonstrate exceptional business excellence, vision and innovation, inspiring, courageous leadership, and community responsibility.
Junior Achievement of South Florida is a nonprofit organization that provides a series of business, economics and life-skills programs to elementary, middle grade and high school students. The organization’s high-profile annual Business Hall of Fame event took place this year on Feb. 9 at JA World Huizenga Center at Broward College and honored several other laureates including: entrepreneur “Alligator” Ron Bergeron; Andrew Cagnetta, Jr., CEO of Transworld Business Brokers, LLC; and Mike Jackson, Chairman and CEO of Autonation, INC. Laureates are chosen by previous honorees, a group of peers that live the values inherent to the free enterprise system and serve as excellent role models for young people.
