Three new attorneys have joined Greenspoon Marder’s expansive Litigation and Real Estate Groups. Attorneys that have joined the Cypress Creek office include, Michael T. Bostick, Benny A. Ortiz, and Aaron T. Williams. Joined in the Downtown Fort Lauderdale office is Scott M. Wellikoff.
Michael T. Bostick joined as an associate in the Real Estate Litigation Group of the firm’s Cypress Creek office. Mr. Bostick is an accomplished trial attorney with more than 100 bench and jury trials in the areas of civil and criminal law. He focuses his practice on real estate with an emphasis on complex consumer finance litigation, representing financial lending institutions and servicers. Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder, he practiced with Tripp Scott, honing his litigation and trial skills in the areas of real estate, consumer finance and creditors’ rights. Additionally, Mr. Bostick previously worked as a government trial attorney with the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office.He received his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law and his B.S. Psychology, B.A. Psychology, B.S. Legal Studies from University of Central Florida.
Benny A. Ortiz joined as an associate in the Litigation Group of the firm’s Cypress Creek office, where he concentrates his practice in secured creditor rights and related real estate litigation. As a trial attorney, he has attended more than 90 non-jury trials and successfully secured judgments in favor of his clients in excess of $50M. Mr. Ortiz is well versed in all aspects of residential foreclosure and has represented the nation’s largest financial institutions, banks and servicers. Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder, his practice spanned commercial and residential transactional law, shared-use community law, title, trademark and pharmaceutical litigation.
He received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and his B.A., International Relations, cum laude from Boston University.
Aaron T. Williams joined as an associate in the Litigation Group of the firm’s Cypress Creek office, where he concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, Homeowners Association (HOA) litigation, and condominium association litigation.
