Greenspoon Marder hires two attorneys to its Trusts & Estate and Litigation Practice Groups. Thomas E. Sliney and Garry W. O’Donnell join as Shareholders and will continue to practice in the firm’s Boca Raton office.
Thomas E. Sliney has extensive experience in the representation of a wide variety of individuals and corporations, focusing his practice on wills, trusts and estates. Mr. Sliney has extensive experience with governmental , municipal and zoning matters. He also represents clients in real estate assessment disputes. Mr. Sliney currently serves as the attorney for the City of Boca Raton Civil Service Board. He served as Town Attorney for the Town of Highland Beach, Florida for many years.
Garry W. O’Donnell is an experienced civil trial attorney and Florida Bar– Board Certified in Business Litigation. O’Donnell concentrates his practice in the area of complex civil litigation in state and federal courts, and commercial arbitrations. He represents individuals and businesses in a broad range of disputes involving real estate, securities, contracts, labor, banking, fair trade, business torts, insurance, product liability, technology, intellectual property, and tax.
Prior to entering private practice, he served as a law clerk to a federal district court judge. He presently serves as the Chair of the Florida Business Litigation Certification Committee, and as a member on the Boca Raton Marine Advisory Board and the University of Dayton Law School Advisory Board.
