Miami – September 6, 2024 – Greenspoon Marder announces Litigation associate Meagan C. Nicholson has been selected to join Class VIII of the Dade Legal Aid (“DLA”) Leadership Academy. Ms. Nicholson will serve during the 2024/2025 bar year and will gain invaluable experience as well as comprehensive insight into critical issues confronting both the organization and the community at large. Ms. Nicholson will also be provided with the opportunity to network alongside fellow legal professionals and leaders in a series of engaging sessions that foster enduring connections and equip young lawyers with the proper tools to “expand and hone their leadership skills.”
Dade Legal Aid provides free civil legal services for low-income children, foster youth, individuals, and families in need in Miami-Dade County. Since 1949, DLA has been passionately committed to providing “Access to Justice” to residents in dire need of legal representation without the means to hire their own attorney. Ms. Nicholson focuses her practice in the areas of complex commercial and civil litigation in both federal and state courts throughout the country. She has experience representing clients in complex commercial litigation, international litigation, class actions, and multi-district litigation.
