Stacey Schulman, a litigation associate in Greenspoon Marder’s Cypress Creek office, has been appointed National Chair of The Jewish Federations of North America Legal Committee.
The Jewish Federations of North America aims to raise funds to provide educational programs, welfare, and social services to members of the Jewish community throughout the United States and Canada. Regarded as one of the continent’s largest charities, the organization provides more than $3 billion annually to its recipients and initiates worldwide benefit programs.
Schulman’s appointment was recently confirmed at the annual meeting of the General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America in Jerusalem, Israel.
Schulman, who has been practicing law for almost twelve years, began her legal career at the State Attorney’s Office in Broward County, FL and she joined Greenspoon Marder in 2012.
Schulman is very involved in the community. In addition to her national role for Jewish Federation, she serves on the local Board of Directors for Jewish Federation of Broward County and she represents Broward County as part of the Jewish Federation’s National Young Leadership Cabinet. Schulman is also very active in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as well as being a member of the Broward Center of Performing Arts Ghost Light Society and the Broward Humane Society’s PetSet division. Schulman’s community involvement also includes work in the legal community. Most notably she is a member of the Broward County Bar’s Bench-Bar Committee and she serves on a Florida Bar Grievance Committee.
Schulman graduated in the top 10% of her class from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. She went on to graduate 1st in her class at the University of Miami’s School of Law.
