Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – August 26, 2013 – Four first year associates join Greenspoon Marder’s Growing Litigation, Wills, Trusts and Estates and Real Estate Practice Groups. Patrick Hennessey will be located in the Orlando office, Peter Kim will be located in the Cypress Creek office, Dana Somerstein and Raul Valero will be located in the downtown Fort Lauderdale office.
Patrick Hennessey joins as a first year associate in the Litigation Group of the Firm’s Orlando office. Patrick was previously a summer associate with Greenspoon Marder and interned with Congressman Richard E. Neal – Mass, in Washington, DC.
Patrick received his J.D. from Barry University School of Law and his B.A. with a major in English Literature and minor in Psychology from Florida State University.
Peter Kim joins as a first year associate in the Wills, Trusts and Estates Group of the Firm’s Cypress Creek office. Peter was a Bridge to Practice Fellow at Golfcoast Legal Services in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Peter received his Master of Law in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, his J.D. from Duke University School of Law and his B.S., cum laude, in Business Administration and Finance from University of Florida.
Dana Somerstein joins as a first associate in the Real Estate Group of the Firm’s downtown Fort Lauderdale office. Dana was a summer associate with Sandler Reiff Young & Lamb, PC in Washington, DC.
Dana received her J.D. from the University Of Florida Levin College Of Law and her B.A. in Business Administration with a minor in Education from the University of Florida. In 2011, Dana was the recipient of the Florida Blue Key, Jason Cherner Award, Florida’s most prestigious leadership honorary.
Raul Valero joins as a first year associate in the Litigation Group of the Firm’s Downtown Fort Lauderdale office. Raul served as a legal intern for SFK Baseball in Northbrook Illinois.
Raul received his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Center and his B.B.A. with majors in Management and Marketing from Florida Atlantic University. Raul was the first Hispanic Editor-in-Chief of Nova Law Review.
