New York – April 8, 2026 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce it hosted Girls Rule the Law, Inc. for a special career day “Lunch & Learn” session focused on immigration and leadership in the firm’s New York City office. The event provided nearly 35 middle and high school girls with an immersive look into the legal profession, featuring dynamic panel discussions and mentorship from leading attorneys.
The program was designed to empower young women considering legal careers by providing thought leadership and practical insights into several areas of law and professional pathways. The day began with deputy managing partner of the New York office, Patricia Gannon, welcoming the students to the firm, followed by a panel discussion moderated by national litigation division chair and partner Beth-Ann Krimsky. The panel included partner Marcela Bermudez, financial services group supervising attorney Raspreet Bhatia, associate Mel DeCandia, and events and hospitality director Elena Ioannidis, who shared their expertise and personal experiences navigating the legal landscape.
“It was an honor to welcome these students into our office,” said Patricia Gannon. “We hope they had positive takeaways from the day and that this serves as a step towards their future. Seeing their enthusiasm for law was inspiring, and we’re proud to support their professional development.”
The afternoon concluded with a lunch session where several New York attorneys joined the students to sit and chat, offering a unique opportunity for informal networking and one-on-one mentorship.
