GREENSPOON MARDER HOSTS RECEPTION SPOTLIGHTING ASSISTED REPRODUCTIVE
TECHNOLOGY BOOK AT BOOKS & BOOKS IN CORAL GABLES
FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – March 1, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder will host a reception at Books & Books, featuring co-authors Marla B. Neufeld, Esq. and Jeffrey A. Kasky, Esq. Neufeld is senior counsel and founder of the firm’s Assisted Reproductive Technology practice group at Greenspoon Marder. Kasky is the co-founder of the surrogacy agency Life Through Surrogacy, and has handled adoption matters for over 20 years.
The event will take place at Books & Books, Coral Gables, FL on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 7:30 p.m., where the co-authors of the “American Bar Association’s Guide to Assisted Reproduction Techniques, Legal Issues, and Pathways to Success” will lead a discussion and book signing.
The book explains the available assisted reproductive technology (ART) options; the process for choosing a medical provider and legal representative; understanding and entering into appropriate fertility related agreements; and the unique issues that may arise pre-and post-birth.
Ms. Neufeld was personally part of the statistic of one of every six couples of childbearing age struggling with infertility. She experienced her own infertility journey for over four years and ultimately used a gestational surrogate to build her own family.
Co-founder of One Word Adoption services, Mr. Kasky has completed well over 1,000 adoptions in his career, and lectures extensively on adoption fraud and scams and often testifies as an expert witness in adoption matters.
