Greenspoon Marder Hosts the CRE Finance Council After Work Series Featuring Partner Mark Fawer

New York, NY – October 3, 2018 – Greenspoon Marder hosts an installment of the CRE Finance Council After Work Series on October 3rd in New York City. Partner, Mark Fawer, will be the moderator for the “Current Trends and Legislative and Regulatory Changes Affecting Construction and Development Real Estate Financing” panel featuring Dan Cooperman, Chief Origination Officer of Terra Capital Partners, Francillia Le Blanc, Managing Director of Centennial Bank and Christina Zausner, Senior Director of CRE Finance Council. The panel will discuss the changes to limitations and restrictions affecting HVCRE loans, the effect of those changes on the capital markets and financing practices and market trends and structuring of capital stacks. Greenspoon Marder is an annual member of the CREFC.

The CRE Finance Council (CREFC) is the trade association for the $3.9 trillion commercial real estate finance industry. CREFC promotes liquidity, transparency and efficiency in the commercial real estate finance markets by acting as a legislative and regulatory advocate for the industry, playing a vital role in setting market standards and best practices, and providing education for market participants.

Mr. Fawer focuses a substantial part of his practice on matters including the representation of institutional, fund and private capital sources in every aspect of subordinate and senior bridge real estate financing, including mezzanine lending, B-notes and preferred equity investments covering every major asset type, such as for rental and for sale residential, hospitality, retail, office, student housing, mixed use and industrial properties.
