Fort Lauderdale, FL – May 15, 2019 – Greenspoon Marder is proud to host the Judicial Diversity Initiative’s Judicial Reception in collaboration with TJ Reddick Bar Association, Haitian Lawyer Association, Caribbean Bar Association, National Black Prosecutor Association, Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association, F. Malcolm Cunningham S. Bar Association, Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. Bar Association, and PNC on May 15th at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. The event will honor the Judiciary, the Judicial Nominating Commission, and the diversity of the legal profession.
The aim of the Judicial Diversity Initiative (JDI) is to promote the equal participation of women and men from a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences and identities in the judiciary in England and Wales by 2020. The JDI is particularly concerned with the participation on the bench of women from under-represented groups such as black and minority ethnic women, disabled women, lesbians and transsexuals, and women from non-traditional or socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
