Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. – December 21, 2015 – Adriana Collado-Hudak, Senior Counsel in Greenspoon Marder Law’s Ft. Lauderdale office, has authored the 11th edition of The Florida Criminal Cases Notebook. The latest edition of the book is a compilation of recent and emerging criminal law cases.
The book is a reference that is used by judges, prosecutors and criminal defense practitioners. The publication is widely viewed as the best single source for Florida criminal law citations. It allows practitioners to quickly find cases with over 8,000 annotations and citations of cases covering the full panoply of Florida criminal law dating back to 1987. Florida criminal defense attorney, Kurt Erlenbach, wrote every edition of the supplement from its inception through 2012.
“It is an honor to be asked to author this publication for the second year in a row,” said Collado-Hudak. “Criminal law is an ever changing practice area and it is vital that we are fully aware of those changes as practitioners.”
This year’s edition continues the guide’s tradition of boiling key Florida criminal cases down to succinct summaries of their facts and holdings. Adriana included annotated citations to more than 80 new Florida criminal law cases, representing decisions from the Florida Supreme Court and all five District Courts of Appeal. Additionally, there are new case summaries that appear throughout the text and cover a broad range of topics.
A sought-after legal consultant, Ms. Collado-Hudak has appeared on local and international media outlets discussing issues pertinent to the criminal justice system. Collado-Hudak graduated cum laude from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Florida.
