Orlando, Fla.—July 7, 2015– Larry Brown, Cherish Benedict, S. Tina Garcia, Thu Pham and Amy Pitsch have joined the firm’s Orlando Office in the Government Relations group.
Larry Brown joins the firm as a Shareholder and is certified by The Florida Bar as a specialist in both Civil Trial and Education Law. He has significant experience in constitutional law, government law, construction, commercial transactions, trade regulation and administrative law. He is the recipient of the highest rating (AV) given by Martindale-Hubbell for legal ability and ethics.
Mr. Brown serves as school board attorney for the School Board of Osceola County. In addition, he also serves as special counsel for other school boards, cities, counties, special districts and other government offices throughout Florida. He represents as general counsel eight other cities and the Indian River School Board, and is special counsel to many other local governments in Florida.
Cherish A. Benedict focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, and commercial landlord tenant litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in New York City at a law firm that is top ranked in the New York area by New York Magazine, where she focused her practice on complex commercial litigation and construction litigation.
Tina Garcia focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in Washington, D.C. at a top law firm where she practiced complex commercial litigation. She was an active member of the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia as well as the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
Thu T. Pham, O.D. focuses her practice in Local Government Law, Health Law, and general commercial matters for both the public and private sectors. Dr. Pham is an active member of The Florida Bar, Seminole County Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, American Optometric Association and Florida Optometric Association.
Amy J. Pitsch currently serves school board clients providing a wide array of legal services, including litigation defense, seminars for education professionals, labor relations, and exceptional student education services. Amy has been appointed to The Florida Bar Education Law Committee.
