Fort Lauderdale, Fl. – May 18, 2015 – Gene K. Glasser, a shareholder in the Wills, Trusts & Estates group of Greenspoon Marder Law, was named a Spirit of Healing Award Honoree at the 2015 Circle of Friends Luncheon presented by the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The Circle of Friends is comprised of a distinct set of individuals that continuously dedicate their time and resources to enhancing the lives of those around them. These individuals work tirelessly to ensure that the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is adequately financed, so that it may continue to provide superb, easily accessible, cost-effective medical care, despite one’s financial abilities.
Glasser is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in the areas of tax law, estate planning and administration. He serves as a Fellow for the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel, is the Founder and Vice Chairman of the Board for the Board of Unifirst Federal Savings Bank, and is on the Board of Directors of the Memorial Hospital Foundation. Glasser currently serves as a Trustee for the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and established the college’s Gene K. and Elaine Glasser endowment.
Glasser has been named a Florida Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers Magazine in Estate & Probate, 2006-2014, is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and has been named to Best Lawyers in America by U.S. News & World Report, Tax Law, Trust and Estates, 1999-2015.
