Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – November 19, 2024 – Greenspoon Marder announces partner Elizabeth Somerstein has been elected by fellow members to become an officer of the Board of the Broward Cultural Council (BCC). The BCC serves as the advisory council to the Broward County Cultural Division by “supporting the County’s vision for arts and culture.” Ms. Somerstein has been a member of the board since 2022.
Comprising dedicated community leaders, artists, and cultural advocates, BCC works to enrich the lives of Broward County residents through grant recommendations and advocacy efforts. BCC supports initiatives to ensure arts and culture are accessible across the County.
Ms. Somerstein is a partner in the Land Use & Zoning practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. She concentrates her practice on representing real estate developers, property owners, and national corporations in all aspects of the regulatory process involving complex land use and zoning matters.
