Newark, N.J. – June 10, 2024 – Greenspoon Marder announces partner Kelly M. Purcaro has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA). Specifically, Ms. Purcaro is named among the Directors of the Women’s Leadership Committee for a two-year term (2024-2026), beginning July 1.
Founded in 1981, the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association engages in statewide efforts to support and promote its members to the highest levels of law firm, government, academic, community, corporate positions and the judiciary. With numerous educational and professional networking events held each year, leadership is actively fostered among members. The current member has grown to exceed 1,000 members in the last three years alone.
Ms. Purcaro is an attorney in the Litigation Practice Group at Greenspoon Marder LLP, specializing in complex commercial litigation across the United States. Her practice focuses on business protection. Ms. Purcaro represents clients in non-compete, non-solicitation, and confidential information disputes, unfair competition, and unfair business practices cases, and defends companies against class actions. As a seasoned trial attorney, Ms. Purcaro is experienced in an array of litigation, including business disputes, consumer class actions, employment disputes, breach of contract, and restrictive covenant matters. Often in her practice, Ms. Purcaro represents both individual and institutional clients in their most sensitive matters.
