Greenspoon Marder Partner Mark Fawer will be a featured speaker at the “What Real Estate Lawyers Need to Know About Blockchain Technology” conference hosted by the Mattone Family Institute for Real Estate Law at St. John’s University on November 19th in New York. Mr. Fawer will speak on the “Security Tokens and Real Estate Capital Markets Applications” panel. Topics addressed during the panel will include crypto-assets, security tokens and how they are traded. Bruce S. DePaola, Partner at Paul Hastings LLP; Mark Elenowitz, President of Horizon Globex; and Alexander Labowitz, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at Cadre, will speak on this panel as well. The conference will explore how blockchain technology is changing the real estate industry, and what this technology holds in store for real estate attorneys in the years to come.
Mark Fawer is a partner in the Real Estate practice group at Greenspoon Marder.
