Fort Lauderdale, FL – April 30, 2018 – Greenspoon Marder partner, Mark Somerstein, was tapped as an Honorary Member of the Florida Blue Key (FBK) of the University of Florida. Honorary tapping provides FBK with the opportunity to recognize individuals who have contributed their time and directed their efforts to enhance the University of Florida and the State.
Florida Blue Key is the oldest and most prestigious leadership honorary in the state of Florida. Founded in 1923, FBK focuses on leadership and public service to the University of Florida and the State through its active chapter and alumni societies throughout Florida.
Mr. Somerstein’s areas of practice include real estate acquisition and development, banking and finance, and business law. During the course of his career, he has handled sophisticated acquisitions, negotiations of contracts with contractors and architects, leasing and sales of shopping centers throughout the United States and all phases of lending work, including asset based lending. Mr. Somerstein’s clients include financial institutions, real estate developers, businesses and automobile dealers.
