Los Angeles, Cal. – July 28, 2021 – Greenspoon Marder attorney Matthew D. Kanin will be a featured speaker at The Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) webinar entitled “Conserving Britney: the Law, the Facts about Conservatorships, and the Future.” In coordination with numerous other local bar associations, the program will be held by Zoom on Thursday, July 29th, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. PST, featuring a distinguished panel of past and present judicial officers and lawyers. The dialogue is a two-part series that will touch on ongoing case studies discussing conservatorship proceedings for journalists and the public. (Consistent with California Law, the speakers are unable to discuss the specific facts or comment on the rulings in a pending case; the purpose of this event is to provide an unbiased background through which to interpret and understand current events.)
LACBA is one of the largest voluntary metropolitan bar associations in the country, with more than 16,000 members. LACBA serves attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals through various committees, including pro bono opportunities, live and on-demand CLE programs, networking events, and informational resources.
Mr. Kanin is of counsel in the Wills, Trusts & Estates practice group at Greenspoon Marder LLP. Mr. Kanin focuses his practice on trust and estate litigation, decedent estate and trust administration, protective proceedings, and business litigation.
