Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – October 23, 2024 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce the unanimous approval by the Margate City Commission of “The Forest Apartments” project. Saul Perez at REZ Group proposed developing the long-vacant 7-acre site at 787 S. State Road 7 with 338 multifamily units and luxury amenities, distributed across five buildings.
Greenspoon Marder partner Matthew H. Scott led the charge in navigating the land use and zoning issues, securing approvals from the Margate Planning and Zoning Board and City Commission. In addition to introducing a new housing option to central Broward County, “The Forest Apartments” project aims to enhance this area of the 441 corridor by creating an urban greenway and multimodal path along the frontage of the property that will promote non-motorized transportation and beautify the City.
