Fort Lauderdale, FL – July 12, 2018 – Greenspoon Marder partner, Michael Alman, will be participating in a panel discussion entitled, “Domestic Violence and Family Law: When Injunctions for Protection Against Violence and Family Members Collide,” presented by the Broward County Bar Association. The seminar will be focusing on domestic violence (DV) cases involving children; speakers will be addressing issues such as: child support in DV cases (and what happens if the injunction is dismissed), timesharing schedules in a DV case (and how to transfer to a Family Law case), petitions on behalf of a minor child, ordered Supervised Time Sharing and its effects on final outcomes in Family Law matters, and how a Final Injunction for Protection Against Violence may affect the Family Law matter.
Mr. Alman is a partner in Greenspoon Marder’s Marital & Family Law practice group. He is equipped with over thirty-five years of experience and presently concentrates his practice on matters involving family, divorce, paternity, enforcement/modification proceedings, alimony, child support, child custody/timesharing and paternal responsibility, and pre/post nuptial agreements.
