He will be speaking on a panel titled “Post-Pandemic Implications on the Sports Industry” on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 1 p.m. EST. Mr. Burwick will discuss the challenges that arose during COVID-19, such as implementing mask/vaccination protocols, adhering to state guidelines, and player salaries when the 2020 seasons were canceled. Also, Mr. Burwick and his fellow panelists will share their career paths and offer advice on the best ways to succeed in the sports and entertainment industry.
The 2022 GEMALaw Annual Symposium is a full-day event featuring several panel discussions addressing trending issues in the sports, entertainment, and media industries. The event also allows students to interact with Georgetown alumni while allowing alumni to network with each other.
Mr. Burwick brings more than a quarter century of legal, negotiation, and financial services industry experience to Greenspoon Marder.
