Orlando, FL – March 12, 2019 – Greenspoon Marder partner, Myrna Maysonet will be a featured speaker for the Florida Diversity Council Women in Leadership Symposium on March 12th in Orlando. The annual event brings together a diverse mix of successful women leaders who, through the discussion of topics relevant to today’s issues will educate, inspire, and encourage women to reflect on their own goals and status. Ms. Maysonet will speak on “Defeating Gender-Based Harassment in the Workplace.” The session will discuss identifying and ending gender-based harassment, the affect that gender-based harassment has on women (both personally and professionally), and how co-workers and superiors can ensure to stand up for the women around them.
Ms. Maysonet concentrates her practice in employment litigation, counseling and defending corporations in a large spectrum of employment-related issues, such as discrimination complaints, unpaid wages, minimum wage and overtime issues, union issues and OSHA federal regulations.
