New York, N.Y. – February 24, 2022 – Greenspoon Marder partner Robert Rando will be a featured speaker at the New York Intellectual Property Law Association (NYIPLA) Patent Trial and Appeals Board Committee CLE program titled “Scope of IPR Estoppel After California Institute v. Broadcom.” The discussion will take place on Tuesday, March 8th, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. ET. Mr. Rando and his fellow panelists will explore the scope of IPR estoppel in view of California Institute of Technology v. Broadcom Ltd. (Fed. Cir. Feb. 4, 2022).

Mr. Rando practices in the areas of complex commercial, patent and other IP litigation. He is a published author and frequent lecturer at law schools and other organizations. A skilled trial lawyer and legal scholar, he has filed Amicus briefs in most of the high-profile patent and other IP cases before the U.S. Supreme Court in the past 15 years. He has also served as a Special Master in numerous complex patent law cases.
